Creators

A creator pass is a complimentary ticket to attend the show on all three days, offered to pop culture content creators with an engaged following who are actively planning to create content at and promote their appearance at MCM Comic Con.

Please note: due to increased popularity in recent years, our creator pass is very limited.

A creator pass is open to individuals who take an active role in the pop culture world; namely social media influencers, content creators, and vloggers who are attending specifically to cover MCM Comic Con. 

Applicants will be reviewed based on the following criteria:

• Size of social media following on at least 2+ platforms

• Level of engagement of posts

• Previous posts and promotion of attendance at MCM

• Submitted reason for wanting to attend

• Applications will be reviewed across all submitted criteria as well as content relevance, post frequency, platform-specific followers, and overall engagement. 

Not sure if you should apply? Here are some quick questions to ask yourself:

• Do you have an active and engaged audience across multiple social platforms within pop culture?

• Are you planning to attend the event in order to create and share content publicly?

• Are you planning to advertise your attendance ahead of the show?

• Were you given a creator pass in 2023?

• Are you a photographer, a member of the press, or do you create content for a news or review dominated editorial or video site?

• Are you applying on behalf of a whole team or multiple creators?

As with all ReedPop events, MCM Comic Con is a fans first event, which means your creator pass allows access to the event as long as space is available. Your creator pass DOES NOT allow:

• Early or special access or guaranteed seating at MCM Comic Con 

• The ability to cut lines

• Free access into any events requiring an additional ticket (unless otherwise stated or invited) 

• Guaranteed seating at panels and events

• Access to talent or back of house 

Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. MCM Comic Con reserves the right to approve or deny any application and limit the number of creator pass provided to any organisation or individual. Every individual applying for an MCM Comic Con creator pass may only apply once.

Each pass is issued individually and is non-transferable and non-resellable. Any individuals caught transferring or selling their creator pass will be disqualified from creator pass at future MCM and ReedPop events.

All creator registrations are subject to approval. You will be notified if you have been approved or denied for a creator pass within 21 business days of when you submitted your application. If you have been approved, additional information regarding creator pass distribution will be provided in your confirmation email and receipt.

You are required to pick up your creator pass from the west entrance at MCM London and you are responsible for bringing the correct paperwork with you.

We highly recommend that you apply early, because we will reach maximum capacity for creator pass prior to MCM Comic Con.

There will be no onsite creator registration at MCM Comic Con.

Creator passes are issued on a case-by-case basis – if you have a team, such as a photographer or videographer, they must apply separately and will be reviewed on their own merit. Due to the large volume of applications, creator passes are issued at the discretion of MCM Comic Con.

And remember: Answer every question as truthfully and completely as you can. Please provide as much and as detailed information as you can. Incomplete and vague applications will not be approved.
