MCM Show Guide: If you’re attending with children…

MCM Comic Con is the perfect way to spend the day nerding out as a family; there’s plenty for kids big and small to see all across the show floor and the best part is…kids aged 10 and under go free with an adult ticket holder! See them marvel at cosplayers sporting their favourite character’s attire, join in the fun with a super cool costume of their own, or take part in one of our many interactive sessions…they won’t be bored!

PLUS crafting activities, free-to-play console and tabletop gaming, comic activity sheets, colouring in, a children’s lending library and so much more running all weekend long…all included in your ticket!

Check back closer to the show for all the highlights from our family programming at MCM!

The MCM Family Passport

Pick up a Family Passport to join our friendly mascot, Buddy, on an exciting scavenger hunt around the MCM show floor. Visit fun activity check-points and fill in your details online for the chance to win tickets to the next MCM Comic Con event.

You can collect a FREE Family Passport at the Treehouse area inside.

Making your day run as smoothly as possible…

We understand navigating the busy show floor with little ones in tow isn’t always the easiest thing in the world, so here are some answers to frequently asked questions to help you on your way. We’d also recommend downloading the MCM Comic Con London app which contains a helpful map and schedule of everything happening across the weekend.

Yes! We’ll have a separate lane in the queue halls for families and those requiring special assistance when entering MCM London. Please speak to our friendly staff and stewards on arrival who will help direct you to the best option.

There are baby changing facilities on level 0 in both the male and female toilets off the ExCeL’s main boulevard. In the ICC area (at the east end of the venue), the red blocks between S9/S10, N10/N11, the Prince Regent DLR east corridor and East Level 0, the baby change facilities are in the disabled toilets.

The family room can be found by S9. Inside has two changing mats, chairs for breastfeeding, a microwave to heat up baby food and a bottle warmer. It also contains a sink and toilet.

The cloakrooms are open during the event hours and located on level 0 (down the stairs, in between hall entrances N4 & S4) and at the east end of the venue on level 0.

Hopefully this answers most of the questions you might have ahead of your time at the show, but if you think of anything else then please reach out to our Customer Service team mcmlondonmay@reedexpo.co.uk, who’ll be happy to help.
