Star-Studded MCM Gaming Lineup this October

ReedPop has announced that Genshin Impact star Emily Cass and Elden Ring’s Scott Arthur have been announced for MCM Comic Con in October. The stars will join the already exciting gaming line up at next week’s show.

Emily Cass is a UK-based voice actor best known for her role as Escoffier in Genshin Impact, an Ousia-aligned Cryo character from Fontaine. In addition to her work in Genshin Impact, Emily has voiced Lumi in 2024’s Wuthering Waves and Bramã in Aether Gazer, along with a variety of other characters across video games. Beyond gaming, she has lent her voice to commercial campaigns for major brands such as Google and Apple.

Scott Arthur is best-known for his acting across TV and video games. He has voiced Blaidd in Elden Ring, the fan‑favorite half‑wolf warrior and loyal shadow to Ranni the Witch. Along with this, Scott is also credited as one of the Nomadic Merchants in the game. Besides Elden Ring, Scott voices Dillon in Xenoblade Chronicles 3, a member of the Liberators. Outside of video gaming, Scott has appeared on screen in roles such as Young DC Paul Bethell in Steeltown Murders and Young Shadwell in Good Omens.

Both Emily Cass and Scott Arthur will be appearing at the upcoming MCM London Comic Con, with Emily attending on Friday only and Scott on Saturday only. Both Emily and Scott will be available for photo opportunities and autographs.

Emily and Scott join a growing list of video game stars already announced for both London and Birmingham MCM events. 

At the London show in October, fan favourites announced so far include 

  • Troy Baker

    • Troy Baker is an American Voice Actor and musician, he is best-known for his critically acclaimed role as Joel Miller in The Last of Us, one of the most iconic video game performances. Following the success of the first game, Baker continued as Joel in The Last of Us Part II and also made a cameo appearance in HBO’s television adaptation as James.

    • He will take to the Capital Stage for a paid performance of ‘Songs: for Joel’, a live performance of songs inspired by The Last of Us, on Sunday 26th October at 3:30 PM, including ticket options for signed posters. To secure a seat, fans should buy their tickets on the MCM website from 29 September here.

From God of War:

  • Sunny Suljic

    • Sunny Suljic is an American actor who is best known for his breakout role as Atreus in God of War and its sequel God of War Ragnarök, where his performance and motion capture work received worldwide acclaim. As well as God of War, Sunny has starred in Jonah Hill’s 2019 film Mid90s, playing the protagonist, Stevie. Sunny is also an accomplished skateboarder and was able to showcase this for his role in this film.

  • Chris Judge

    • Chris Judge voices the mighty Kratos in the hit video games God of War and God of War Ragnarök, bagging himself “Performer in a Leading Role” at the 2023 BAFTA Games Awards and Best Performance at The Game Awards in 2022, both for God of War Ragnarök. In addition to his voiceover work, Chris is well-known for his role as Teal’c in the beloved sci-fi series, Stargate SG-1. His performance as Teal’c lasted ten seasons and featured in several follow-up films, becoming a fan favorite for his humour and unflinching loyalty.

From the FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE series:

  • John Eric Bentley

    • Along with his role as Barrett Wallace in the FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE series, John is well-known for voicing Nick Fury in various Marvel video games such as Marvel Future Revolution and Marvel Strike Force. John has also been credited in award-winning TV series such as Arcane and alongside Simon Baker in The Mentalist

  • Briana White

    • Briana is best known for bringing to life Aerith Gainsborough in the FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE series. Despite this being her first voice acting role, Briana’s performance received universal acclaim, and earned her a Golden Joystick Award for Best Supporting Performer.

  • Britt Baron

    • Britt voices Tifa Lockhart, a major recurring character in the FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE series. As well as her iconic role as Tifa, Britt is best-known for her role as Justine Biagi in all episodes of Netflix’s hit comedy-drama series GLOW. Britt has also appeared in Grey’s Anatomy.

In addition to meeting video game voice actors, MCM ticket holders will get access to a host of other gaming content, including hands-on access to upcoming games.

  • LEGO® Batman™: Legacy of the Dark Knight

    • Attendees will be the first in the UK to get their hands on a playable version of the upcoming LEGO® Batman™: Legacy of the Dark Knight. First revealed during Gamescom Opening Night Live in August, LEGO® Batman™: Legacy of the Dark Knight is an action-adventure that invites players to embark on an epic journey to become the hero of Gotham City.

  • 007 First Light Panel

    • Developers of the upcoming James Bond game, IO Interactive, will be bringing to attendees a deep dive into its upcoming James Bond game: 007 First Light. This panel will be held at 5:15 PM on the Live Stage on Friday 24th October, and will feature gameplay and discussion about the making of this reimagined origin story.

  • Old School Runescape Sailing Update Panel

    • The developers behind Old School Runescape will take to Centre Stage Saturday 25th October at 3pm to reveal insights from the development of the game’s first ever new skill: Sailing.

  • Rainbow Rampage Tournament

    • Held in collaboration with Ubisoft, the Rainbow Rampage Rainbow Six Siege tournament will be hosted by EGX at MCM London Comic Con in a series of thrilling matches featuring some of the best of Europe’s esports scene. The offline tournament will feature the top 4 teams from September’s playoffs and 6 teams qualifying on the day, and will take place entirely on Friday 24 October.
