Voice of Solid Snake David Hayter Infiltrates MCM Comic Con this May

MCM Comic Con are pleased to announce that David Hayter, the actor behind the iconic voice of Metal Gear Solid’s protagonist, Solid Snake is set to attend this May. Hayter will be appearing at the convention for all three days from Friday 22nd until Sunday 24th May 2026.

David Hayter first began voicing Solid Snake in the Metal Gear series’ first 3D video game, Metal Gear Solid, released in 1998. He has since gone on to voice Snake, Old Snake and Naked Snake in many of the franchise’s most iconic games, with his voice most recently featuring in 2025’s Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater.

Beyond Metal Gear Solid, Hayter has had a storied career as an actor, voice actor, writer and producer across video games, film and television. His voice has featured in games such as Star Wars: The Old Republic and the Yakuza franchise and he played Captain America in Spider-Man: The Animated Series. He also won a Saturn Award for Best Writing for his work on the X-Men movie’s screenplay in 2000.

David Hayter will be available for photo opportunities and autographs across all three days of MCM Comic Con, where he’ll be joining other previously announced guests such as fellow Metal Gear Solid voice actor, Cam Clarke.
