Voice of Prince Zuko Blasts His Way to MCM Comic Con

With just two weeks to go until MCM Comic Con returns to Excel London, ReedPop has today revealed that voice and screen actor Dante Basco will be appearing at the pop culture convention from Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th May.

ante is best known as the voice behind the disgraced yet determined heir to the Fire Nation throne, Prince Zuko, in Nickelodeon's Avatar: the Last Airbender. Dante’s voice acting expertly conveys his character’s emotional growth throughout the course of the series, as Zuko goes through immense internal turmoil before finally understanding the value of peace and friendship.

In addition to Prince Zuko, Dante has also lent his vocal talents to General Iroh in the Avatar: the Last Airbender spinoff - The Legend of Korra, the titular character in American Dragon: Jake Long, Jai Kell in Star Wars Rebels and more. He has also had a long screen acting career, playing Rufio, the leader of The Lost Boys in 1991’s Hook.

Dante will be taking part in purchasable photo and autograph opportunities throughout the entire weekend, as well as a live Q&A spotlight on the Centre Stage at 12PM Sunday 25th May for Priority and Weekend Ticket holders. All panels are free for MCM ticket holders and some can be reserved HERE.

The news of Dante’s arrival at MCM Comic Con follows other recent guest announcements including Doctor Who star David Tennant, Hollywood legend Patton Oswalt, Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s Stephanie Beatriz, PlayStation’s Miles Morales Nadji Jeter, and more.

Keep an eye on the official MCM Comic Con pages for the latest announcements as MCM reveals more exciting guests, panels and activities in the lead up to MCM Comic Con London this May.
