Avatar The Last Airbender cast soars into MCM Comic Con x EGX this October
ReedPop is pleased to reveal that the cast of Avatar The Last Airbender will be attending MCM Comic Con x EGX from 25 - 27 October at ExCeL London.
Running across three seasons from 2005 to 2008, Avatar The Last Airbender captured the imagination of children and adults alike, as viewers followed Aang’s journey to master all four elements and save the world from domination by the fire nation. Along the way, Aang and his friends, Sokka, Katara and Toph struggled to overcome the immense pressure placed upon them whilst also navigating the challenges of adolescence, making for a truly timeless story.
Fans of the series will be able to meet...
Zach Eisen – The voice of Aang, Zach Eisen played the show’s titular avatar throughout all 61 episodes of the series. Zach’s voice acting lent much of the heart and emotion which enthralled a generation. In addition to Aang, Zach also voiced Pablo in The Backyardigans for nine years.
Michaela Jill Murphy - Also known by Jessie Flower, Michaela is best known for voicing Toph Beifong in Avatar The Last Airbender, a role she embodied from the age of eleven until her first year of highschool. Aside from voicing Toph, Michaela also voiced characters in films such as Curious George and the Emperor’s New Groove 2, all before graduating Yale University.
James Sie portrays the founder of Cabbage Corp and Cabbage Merchant, Cai. A fan favourite character, known for his frequent run ins with Team Avatar, and his iconic catchprase: "My Cabbages!" James also provides the voice to Oyaji, a proud member of the Earth Kingdom and the leader of a village on Kyoshi Island. Outside of world of bending, James acted as a voice double for Jackie Chan voicing the titular character, amongst others, in animated show Jackie Chan Adventures.
Jennie Kwan plays Suki, one of the many leaders of the Kyoshi Warriors and Sokka's boyfriend throughout the majority of the series. She joins Team Avatar to help them defeat Fire Lord Ozai and plays a key role in his ultimate defeat. Jennie also played Samantha "Sam" Woo on California Dreams, voiced Satoko Hojo in Higurashi When They Cry, and Chun-Li in Street Fighter 6.
- James and Jennie will be joining fellow Avatar cast members Zach Tyler Eisen and Michaela Jill Murphy on the live stage, Sunday 27th October at 3:15pm included for free with Sunday and Weekend Pass tickets.
Included in this announcement is the news that Jack De Sena will no longer be attending MCM Comic Con x EGX this year.
