Fancy meeting Uncharted hero Nathan Drake? How about Joel from The Last of Us? Well, you’re in luck – top videogame voice actors Nolan North and Troy Baker will both be making their MCM Manchester debuts when the show returns next month!
Troy and Nolan, who star together in the Uncharted franchise, The Last of Us and the new God of War, will be attending both days of Manchester Central comic con, joining a voice talent line-up that already includes Overwatch‘s Lucie Pohl, Charlet Chung and Gaku Space, Mass Effect‘s Jennifer Hale and voice of Winnie-the-Pooh Jim Cummings.
Best known for his BAFTA-nominated turn as Uncharted protagonist Nathan Drake, Nolan North’s other high profile roles include Desmond Miles in the Assassin’s Creed series, Rocket Raccoon in Telltale’s Guardians of the Galaxy and Ghost in Destiny 2. Other gaming credits include The Last of Us, Spec Ops: The Line, Batman: Arkham City, Injustice: Gods Among Us, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and this year’s God of War.
Troy Baker’s career highlights to date include Booker DeWitt in BioShock Infinite, Pagan Min in Far Cry 4 and Joel in The Last of Us – a part the Texan is set to reprise in Part II of Naughty Dog’s survival horror masterpiece. As well as appearing alongside Nolan North in Uncharted, God of War and Shadow of Mordor, Baker’s credits include Final Fantasy XIII, Batman: Arkham Origins, Tales from the Borderlands and Metal Gear Solid V.
