Horror film It actors Sophia Lillis & Wyatt Oleff to make MCM London debut
Sophia Lillis and Wyatt Oleff, two of the teen stars of 2017 horror film It and recently released sequel It: Chapter Two, will be bringing the spookums to MCM London Comic Con this October.
The movies adapt Stephen King's classic 1986 novel about a group of children being terrorised by an evil shape-shifting entity – most iconically in the form of Pennywise the Dancing Clown – with the sequel set 27 years after the events of the first film.
Lillis and Oleff play two of the outcast kids who make up the self-proclaimed 'Losers Club' stalked by the mysterious and malevolent being that they dub ‘It’. Brooklyn born actor Sophia Lillis (Sharp Objects, Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase) plays flame-haired tomboy Beverly Marsh, who faces an abusive father at home and bullying at school.
Meanwhile, 16-year-old Wyatt Oleff plays rabbi's son Stanley Uris, a timid but level-headed lad whose bar mitzvah studies are haunted by a ghoulish woman from a painting. Oleff also appeared in Guardians of the Galaxy and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 as the young Peter Quill, as well as cameoing as a youthful Rumplestiltskin in Once Upon a Time.
