VidfestMOBILEStand by for aliens, vampires, Georgian gentlemen and more comedy than you can shake a foam lightsaber at. Online video celebration VidfestUK is back with a bang at this month’s London Comic Con, with a host of online video creators attending the 24-26 October show.

Coming to the UK for the first time is Emmy Award-winning web series The Lizzie Bennet Diaries, a ground-breaking modern-day adaptation of Pride And Prejudice that The Guardian has dubbed “the best Austen adaptation around”.

Meanwhile, exciting new vampire show Morganville will make its world premiere at Comic Con, with bestselling US author Rachel Caine introducing a cast that includes Buffy’s Amber Benson, Star Trek’s Robert Picardo, Lindsay Seidel and Jordan Tanner Farris.

Also making its London Comic Con debut is new alien invasion comedy The Day They Came To Suck Out Our Brains, starring Harry Potter and Star Wars’ Warwick Davis, comedian Nick Helm, Game of Thrones’ Gemma Whelan and YouTube sensation Ashens.

Other first time Vidfesters include British YouTuber and musician Emma Blackery, singer and vlogger Musical Bethan, machinima makers Infinite Idea Media, sci-fi comedy series Outside The Box, videogame entertainment show ThirdPartyController and entertainment company Wildseed Studios.

Returning Vidfest favourites include Raindance Film Festival, Glasgow-set supernatural series Caledonia, Tomska, Eddsworld, Weebl’s Stuff, OMFG It’s Jack And Dean, Redshirt Films, Small Spartans and stage and screen combat school Independent Drama.
