Walking Dead Bike

As a huge fans of the walking dead, the idea of putting together a replica of Daryl Dixon’s now infamous “scrambler” bike from seasons 3-8 was a dream project! Built over 9 months in Bournemouth, Dorset, the bike is as close a replica to the original bikes used in the show as is possible. Starting life as a 1992 Honda 750 Nighthawk, everything but the engine was removed. Then piece by piece the bike was put back together, using what felt like scavenged pieces – really adding to the post apocalyptic feel of the design. Some 200 man hours of research, buying, building, and just looking at pictures of the originals went in to this bike. The hardest part of the entire build was the fact this is not a pristine bike – making it look messed up, damaged, dirty, scratched, is incredibly difficult, but we feel we have the best replica bike this side of the Atlantic!
