MCM Birmingham goes bats for Gotham star David Mazouz
MCM Birmingham’s June edition to host teen sensation David Mazouz, who starred as the young Bruce Wayne in critically-acclaimed Batman origin show Gotham.
MCM Birmingham sent out the bat signal - and Gotham star David Mazouz answered our call! Comic Con’s latest special guest is best known for his acclaimed portrayal of a young Bruce Wayne in the Fox superhero series, which chronicles Batman’s origin story through the eyes of the Caped Crusader’s crime-fighting ally, police detective James Gordon.
An actor since the age of eight, teen star Mazouz appeared in all five seasons of Gotham, which reached its thrilling finale last spring. Beginning with the murder of Bruce Wayne’s billionaire parents, the series follows his journey from hauntingly intense 12-year-old to the bat-costumed vigilante revered by comic fans the world over – a journey that features his first encounters with franchise faves such as Catwoman, Posion Ivy and The Penguin.
Before battling supervillains on the mean streets of Gotham, David Mazouz had a starring role in another Fox drama, playing the mute, number-obsessed Jake opposite Kiefer Sutherland in Touch. Los Angeles native Mazouz’s other TV credits include The Office, Criminal Minds, Private Practice and Family Guy.
