10 YEARS OF BORDERLANDS COSPLAY COMPETITION CONTINUES WITH ROUND 2 AT MCM MANCHESTER – WITH A TOP PRIZE OF £5,000
With Borderlands 3 releasing this September 13th, the celebration of all things Borderlands continues with Round 2 of the 10 Years of Borderlands Cosplay Competition at MCM Comic-Con Manchester.
The contest has been launched to celebrate the community of cosplayers who’ve created amazing Borderlands costumes, props, weapons and make-up styles since the franchise’s inception in 2009.
Round 2 will see six further winners bag a place each in the Grand Final at EGX 2019 in October, joining the six winners from Round 1 who have already been crowned at MCM London in May. The Grand Final will see the ultimate Borderlands cosplay champion awarded a top prize of £5,000. Runners up will receive £1,000 for second place, and £500 for third place. Our guest judges, Kelly Jean and Hannah Lydia, will be at MCM Manchester to pore over every detail of the Borderlands-inspired masterpieces. The competition will run throughout 2019 in the build up to the release of Borderlands 3 on 13th September.
HOW TO ENTER
Round 2 of the competition is open to anyone from the UK attending MCM Manchester. Any Borderlands-inspired cosplay from the entire series, new or existing, is eligible for entry to the competition. This means that cosplayers do not need to only take inspiration from Borderlands 3 – any cosplays inspired by previous games in the series will also qualify.
