We’re delighted to welcome an MCM favourite back to Manchester – none other than Star Wars and Harry Potter star Warwick Davis! Having recently appeared in Gareth Edwards blockbuster Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and animated series Star Wars: Rebels, and set to return for Star Wars: The Last Jedi (although he’s keeping tight lipped about his role!), Warwick will be meeting fans on both days of our Manchester Central show.
Davis, who played Wicket in Return Of The Jedi and Wollivan in the The Force Awakens, is also well known for his roles as Professor Filius Flitwick and Griphook in the hugely popular Harry Potter franchise. In addition, Warwick’s big screen career has seen him star as the hero of 1988 fantasy Willow, as Nikabrik in The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian and as the vengeful protagonist of cult horror franchise Leprechaun.
Other Hollywood credits include Labyrinth, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy and award-winning Ray Charles biopic Ray, while Warwick’s TV credits include Ricky Gervais’ Life’s Too Short, Extras and An Idiot Abroad, and guest appearances on Doctor Who, Merlin and The Fast Show.
