The Napoleon of Crime is on his way to London Comic Con! Sherlock star Andrew Scott, who plays Jim Moriarty on the smash hit crime drama, will be meeting fans on the Saturday and Sunday of the MCM show, which returns to London’s ExCel later this month.
One of the stand-out characters in a series acclaimed for its memorable performances, Andrew Scott’s portrayal of Holmes’ arch-enemy Moriarty has won the Dublin-born actor a slew of industry accolades, including a BAFTA for Best Supporting Actor.
Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat’s modern-day interpretation of the classic detective stories sees Scott play the infamous Moriarty as a deranged but brilliant figure – the evil counterpart to the mighty Holmes and the world’s only ‘consulting criminal’.
Beyond Sherlock, Andrew Scott is a noted stage actor, scooping a brace of Olivier Awards for his theatre work, while his big screen appearances include Bond film Spectre, Saving Private Ryan, BAFTA-nominated drama Denial and last year’s Swallows and Amazons.
