A skilled martial artist, Johnny Yong Bosch first became a cult favourite as Adam Park, the second Black Ranger, in iconic superhero series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and its 1995 spin-off movie. He also returned as Park in the two follow-up Power Rangers series, Zeo and Turbo, although this time in the guise of the Green Ranger.
Since his Spandex superhero days, Bosch has also become well known as an anime voice actor. Kicking off his anime career with two high profile roles – Vash the Stampede in Trigun and Kaneda in Akira – Johnny has gone on to star as Ichigo in Bleach, Lelouch in Code Geass, Artemis in Sailor Moon, T.K. Takaishi in Digimon Adventure Tri and Yo-kai Watch’s young protagonist Nate Adams.
Other acclaimed anime featuring Johnny Yong Bosch include Naruto, Haruhi Suzumiya, Eureka Seven, Free!, Danganronpa, Durarara!! and Makoto Shinkai classic 5 Centimetres Per Second. In addition, he has voiced characters in video games such as Devil May Cry 4, Persona 4, Mortal Kombat X and, most recently, Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite.
