The return of MCM London Comic Con in October 2017 also means the return of the Cosplay Masquerades! At this show, the format is slightly different to usual with Saturday hosting a smaller ‘mini-Masquerade’ on the PopAsia Stage around lunchtime and Sunday being the usual format on a main stage at the end of the day.

The Cosplay Masquerades are open to anyone who has made their own costume, successful performance applicants, and of course children under the age of 16 as well.

That’s not all! On the Sunday, the UK team for the Clara Cow Cosplay Cup will also be selected! The Clara Cow Cosplay Cup (or CCCC) Qualifier requires a team of two cosplayers and a performance with a duration of less than 150 seconds; both must be age 18 by June 2018; both must be British or resident in the United Kingdom and not have entered another countries’ CCCC qualifier this year.
You also need to be able to attend the Final in the Netherlands from the 15th to the 17th of June 2018. To take part, register for the Cosplay Masquerade on the Sunday, confirming your interest and eligibility.

You can register your interest in taking part from 19:00 BST on 05/09/2017 via the form below. Want to take part but unsure your costume will be finished? We recommend going ahead and registering and if the costume needs more time, just let the Cosplay Team know.

If you have any cosplay related queries drop the Cosplay Team an email here:

Even if you are not taking part on the Cosplay Masquerades, please feel  free to make use of our facilities for cosplayers- changing areas, bag storage, and supplies for repairs can all be found at the Cosplay Desk.
