We’re lovin’ the Hayter here at MCM, with the news that ace actor, voice artist and screenwriter David Hayter is to make his London Comic Con debut when the show returns to Excel later this year. Famous as the voice of Solid Snake in the epic Metal Gear Solid videogame franchise, David is set to attend Saturday and Sunday of the October event.
As well as being an award-winning screenwriter with big screen credits such as X-Men, X-Men 2, Watchmen and The Scorpion King to his name, David Hayter is probably best known for his decade-long stint in the iconic role of Solid Snake in Hideo Kojima’s stealth-focused Metal Gear series, which also saw him voice the young Big Boss, ‘Naked Snake’.
The multi-talented Hayter was also the voice of Captain America on the much-lauded Spider-Man: The Animated Series, while the Canadian-American actor’s anime appearances include Hayao Miyazaki’s Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro, Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket, Fushigi Yugi and Yu Yu Hakusho: The Movie.
