From space operas to time travel, to battles beyond the stars, MCM London Comic Con’s Author Corner  has an exciting line-up of best-selling and debut authors this May for all your literary needs.

Screenwriter, novelist and comics writer M R Carey, creator of the original series Th1t3en and author of The Girl With All The Gifts, will be meeting fans across the three-day event and joining fellow authors on panels including Scary Stories for Scary Times and Orbit Presents: Old Vs New.

Want to know what it takes to get that novel off your hard drive and onto the bookshelves? Debut authors, Ed McDonald (Blackwing), GX Todd (Defender), Nicholas Eames (Kings of The Wyld), RJ Barker (Age of Assassins) and Adrian Selby (Snakewood) will be discussing their journey into the world of professional publishing and their big breakthroughs.

Or do you need tips on how to get your literary creative juices flowing – whether it’s a game, comic book or novel? Join Shades of Vengeance’s creator and lead writer Ed Jowett and comic book writer Jonathan Lewis as they discuss the best approach to taking that first daunting step on your creative journey.

Visitors can join Doctor Who novelists Mike Tucker, Jonathan Morris and Cavan Scott as they discuss all things writing about the world’s most famous time traveller. British screenwriter, novelist and audio playwright Richard Dinnick will also take to the stage to discuss the creative process for his latest Doctor Who opus – the very first illustrated book of Time Lord mythology.

The Powerful Women in Pop Culture panel will see authors Jen Williams (The Ninth Rain), Justina Robson (Keeping It Real), Ashley Poston (Geekerella), Sam Maggs (Wonder Women), among others discuss how pop culture has lead the way in terms of empowering women through dynamic, beloved female characters.
