American actor, stuntman and comedian Verne Troyer, most famous for playing Mini-Me in the shagadelic Austin Powers movies, is the latest star to be added to London Comic Con’s special guest roster, joining a list that includes Firefly’s Summer Glau and Sean Maher, Star Trek’s Nichelle Nichols and Pokémon’s Veronica Taylor.
Verne Troyer starred alongside Mike Myers in both Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me and Austin Powers in Goldmember, delivering scene-stealing performances as Mini-Me, Dr. Evil’s silent but deadly 1/8 size clone.
Other big screen credits include Oscar-nominated fantasy blockbuster Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone; Terry Gilliam films Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, Jim Carrey’s Dr. Seuss adaptation How the Grinch Stole Christmas and iconic 1997 sci-fi comedy Men in Black.
Meanwhile, Verne Troyer’s television appearances include Celebrity Juice, Two and a Half Men, Scrubs, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, WWE Raw and Celebrity Big Brother.
