Warwick Davis will be back on the big screen this December when the much-anticipated Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theatres, but you don’t need to wait until then to see the Star Wars and Harry Potter star – he’s also attending the Saturday of MCM Birmingham Comic Con!
Following appearances in Gareth Edwards’ 2016 blockbuster Rogue One and the animated Star Wars: Rebels earlier this year, Warwick is slated to return in both The Last Jedi and spin-off movie Solo: A Star Wars Story – although he’s keeping tight lipped about his roles for now.
Davis, who played Wicket in Return Of The Jedi and Wollivan in the The Force Awakens, is also well known for his roles as Professor Filius Flitwick and Griphook in the hugely popular Harry Potter franchise. In addition, Warwick’s big screen career has seen him star as the hero of 1988 fantasy Willow, as Nikabrik in The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian and as the vengeful protagonist of cult horror franchise Leprechaun.
Other Hollywood appearances include Labyrinth, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy and award-winning 2004 Ray Charles biopic Ray, while Warwick’s television credits include Ricky Gervais’ Life’s Too Short, Extras and An Idiot Abroad, and guest appearances on Doctor Who, Merlin and The Fast Show. Warwick Davis will also be a cast member in upcoming Anglo-Finnish Moomins TV adaptation Moominvalley, set to air in 2019.
