Fresh from appearing in spy comedy sequel Kingsman: The Golden Circle, we’re stoked to announce that actor, comedian and musician Keith Allen (Trainspotting, Robin Hood) will be joining us at both this month’s MCM London and November’s MCM Birmingham Comic Cons!
The multi-talented Allen recently played ill-fated Golden Circle villain Charles in Matthew Vaughn’s 2017 comic book adaptation Kingsman: The Golden Circle, while last year saw him star in sports comedy Eddie the Eagle, a biopic of the man who became the first person to represent Great Britain in Olympic ski jumping and the highest grossing British film released in the UK in 2016.
Other big screen credits include 2015’s good-hearted homelessness drama Hector; acclaimed Danny Boyle black comedies Trainspotting and Shallow Grave; award-winning gothic horror film The Others; French romantic comedy My Wife is an Actress; rocking Sara Sugarman comedy Vinyl and cult Swansea-set crime drama Twin Town, which was helmed by his younger brother Kevin.
Meanwhile, Keith Allen’s TV work includes a starring role as the villainous Sheriff of Nottingham in three seasons of BBC series Robin Hood, as well as appearances on shows such as Black Books, Gadget Man, Death in Paradise, Time Crashers and Top Gear.
