YouTube celebrities TomSka, Luke Cutforth, Evan Edinger and Jamie Jo will be attending next month’s MCM Belgium Comic Con! Coming to the show courtesy of YouTube festival Summer in the City, our trio of special guests will be meeting fans on both days of the Brussels Expo event.
Best known for series such as asdfmovie, Eddsworld and Crash Zoom, much-loved YouTube pioneer Tom ‘TomSka’ Ridgewell’s content is enjoyed by an audience of more than four million subscribers, garnering over 800 million views and rising! TomSka’s main channel is home to comedy, cartoons and sketches by Tom and his awesome crew, while second channel DarkSquidge adds updates, previews and behind-the-scenes glimpses.
With over half a million YouTube subscribers, Luke Cutforth’s channel LukeIsNotSexy features his often hilarious, sometimes heartfelt and occasionally musical takes on what’s happening in his life and the world around him. As well as hosting his hugely-popular channel, Luke is an up-and-coming filmmaker – his latest project, upcoming feature film The Drowning of Arthur Braxton is due out next year.
More than 350,000 subscribers tune in to Evan Edinger’s channel, where he covers everything from Pokémon GO and ukulele to politics and religion. Often with puns. Lots and lots of puns. An American YouTuber living in London, Evan often has fun with the differences between his adopted home and the States – whether it’s slang, snacks or school assemblies. He also has a YouTube travel vlog, which you can check out here.
Meanwhile, Jamie Jo is best known for her pop culture-inspired arts and crafts channel BananaJamana, which has garnered nearly 230,000 subscribers since she began it back in 2010. Whether it’s painting Suicide Squad’s Harley Quinn, painting Pikachu cupcakes or planning a Disney party, BananaJamana is a charm-packed explosion of arty goodness. Jamie Jo has also recently started a second channel, BananaVlogWorld.
Tom, Luke, Evan and Jamie Jo’s appearance at MCM Belgium Comic Con is sponsored by our friends at Summer in the City, the UK’s largest online video convention. This year’s SitC played host to over 150 super talented YouTube creators and more than 10,000 of their fans.
